Is There a Free Way to Forward Telegram Messages Automatically?
Most Telegram forwarding tools give you a trial and then a wall. Phantom Forwarder has a genuine free tier underneath the trial, and the useful part is knowing precisely where its edges are before you build anything on it.
The short answer
The Free plan runs one forwarding rule, from one source to one destination, in real time, around the clock, on our servers. No card, nothing to install, nothing that has to stay open on your phone or your computer. It is offered for a limited time and can be changed or withdrawn, which is why it is worth reading the next section before you rely on it.
What the Free plan includes, and what it does not
In one line: Free is plain forwarding, and everything that shapes or hides the forwarding belongs to a paid plan. The current prices and the full comparison live on the pricing page, so that what you read here cannot go out of date.
- Included: one rule, one destination, real-time delivery, 24/7, on our servers.
- Not included: channels and groups with saving restricted.
- Not included: keyword and media filters, find and replace, custom header or footer.
- Not included: Ghost Mode.
- Not included: edit and delete sync.
- Not included: AI translation, summaries, content filtering and reading text inside images.
- Not included: importing messages published before the rule existed.
The 7-day trial: everything except two things
Every new account starts on a 7-day trial with unlimited rules and unlimited destinations, protected channels, all the filters, find and replace, captions, text formatting, edit and delete sync, and one small import of 50 past messages. No card is asked for.
Two things sit outside the trial: Ghost Mode, which starts on the Gold plan, and the AI features, which are Platinum only. That is deliberate, and we would rather write it here than let you find out on day three.
What happens the day the trial ends
Nothing is deleted, and nothing changes without you being told. The account moves to the Free plan, and the rule that delivered most recently keeps running. The others are paused, with their filters, replacements and destinations intact, and you can pick a different one to be the live rule whenever you want.
If you subscribe later, the paused rules come back on by themselves. The same applies if a paid plan lapses: you land on Free rather than on a blank page.
When free stops being enough
Yearly billing costs less per month than monthly. The current figures are on the pricing page.
- The source is a channel with saving restricted: that starts on the Smart plan.
- You need more than one rule, or more than one destination per rule: every paid plan raises both, and the exact numbers are on the pricing page.
- You want filters, find and replace, or a header and footer: Smart.
- You want to remain invisible like a phantom while forwarding: Ghost Mode starts on Gold.
- You want translation, summaries, a content filter written in plain language, or the text inside screenshots to be read: Platinum.
What about free scripts and modified Telegram apps?
Two other free routes come up often. A self-hosted script has no monthly fee, but it only delivers while the machine running it is powered on, connected and up to date, and you are the one who has to keep it alive at three in the morning.
Modified Telegram clients are the other one, and they sit outside Telegram terms. The account you would be risking is the account that holds all of your chats, which is a steep price for a feature. Whatever you choose, that is the trade to weigh.
Common questions
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes: one rule, one destination, no card. It is a limited-time offer, so it can be changed or withdrawn, and we will say so in advance if that happens. Your rules and settings stay saved either way.
Do I need a credit card for the 7-day trial?
No. You sign up, connect your Telegram account with your phone number and the login code, and start creating rules.
What happens to my rules when the trial ends?
You move to the Free plan. The rule that delivered most recently keeps running; the others are paused rather than deleted, and they return automatically if you subscribe. You can choose a different rule to keep live at any time.
Can I forward from a protected channel on the Free plan?
No. Channels and groups with saving restricted are handled from the Smart plan upwards. During the 7-day trial they are included.
Is Ghost Mode part of the trial?
No, it starts on the Gold plan. The trial covers everything else except the AI features, which are Platinum only.
