How Do You Rewrite Forwarded Telegram Messages in Your Own Style?

Some sources are useful and badly written: capital letters everywhere, three emoji per line, a fixed sales pitch under every post. Relaying them as they are means importing that tone into your destination. Rewriting applies your instruction to every message on the way through.

You write the instruction

One sentence describing what you want done: "rewrite in a neutral tone", "remove the promotional lines and keep the numbers", "turn it into two short lines". It is applied to every message the rule relays, so it should describe a transformation that makes sense for all of them, not for one particular post.

The clearer the instruction, the more predictable the result. "Make it better" gives you a lottery; "keep only the entry, stop loss and target, one per line" gives you the same shape every time.

What is protected

Numbers, prices and levels are meant to survive a rewrite unchanged: the point is to change how it reads, not what it says. That said, this is a rewrite and not a copy, so where the exact wording is critical โ€” a legal notice, a quote you are attributing โ€” relaying it untouched is the honest choice.

If the result comes back empty or wildly longer than the original, the original is relayed instead. A rewrite that goes wrong should not cost you the message.

Rewriting or summarising?

They are two different jobs and only one can be active on a rule. A summary shortens: it decides what to leave out. A rewrite reshapes: it keeps the content and changes the form. If your problem is length, use the summary; if your problem is tone or format, use the rewrite.

Where it earns its cost

  • A source whose formatting is unusable but whose content is good.
  • A destination that must keep one voice while relaying several sources.
  • Posts that always contain the same information in a different order, which a fixed instruction can normalise.
  • Not worth it: sources that already publish the way you want. Rewriting them costs credit and adds risk for nothing.

Cost, credit and plan

Charged per message rewritten, against your AI credit. When the credit runs out the original is relayed unchanged โ€” the step is skipped, not the message.

It belongs to the AI features, which are Platinum and are not part of the 7-day trial. The plan comparison is on the pricing page.

One thing to keep in mind

A rewritten message is no longer the author's words. If your destination presents relayed content as quotations from a source, rewriting it changes what you are claiming. That is a judgement about your own publishing, not a technical limit, and it is worth making deliberately.

Common questions

Can I rewrite forwarded Telegram messages in a different style?

Yes. You write the instruction in a sentence and it is applied to every message the rule relays, before it reaches the destination.

Are numbers and price levels preserved?

They are meant to survive unchanged, because the point is to change how a message reads rather than what it says. Where exact wording is critical, relaying untouched is still the safer choice.

Can I rewrite and summarise at the same time?

No, only one of the two can be active on a rule. Use the summary for length and the rewrite for tone or format.

What if the rewrite fails or the credit runs out?

The original message is relayed unchanged. The step is skipped, never the message.
